CONSEIL NATIONAL DES INGENIEURS ET DES SCIENTIFIQUES DE FRANCE

The CNISF (National Council of Engineers and Scientists of France) has been formed through the merger of three of France's oldest engineering and scientific institutions, to form a single body representing over 450,000 engineers and scientists in France.
It brings together 177 associations, of which 113 engineering school graduate associations or societies, 22 regional unions, 42 scientific and technical societies, as well as foreign sections.
Objectives :
to involve itself in socio-economic debates of direct concern to engineers and scientists; to be a recognised representative and to be consulted for all problems relating to the application of acquired or renewed scientific knowledge. Means : information, discussion, co-ordination and action.
Contacts :
the public authorities and all other authorities concerned by the quality and efficiency of scientific and technical activities and, of course, the engineers themselves. The CNISF, a new force in the service of engineers, scientists and the Nation.
